At this point vlc will start every time the pc boots up.
When you release it, the context menu pops up and you will select Create shortcuts here.
Go back into the start menu, find Videolan, now right-click the VLC media player icon and drag it into the Startup directory folder you just opened. Now, you need to create a vlc shortcut in that Startup folder. Click Start then All Programs, then navigate to the Startup folder.
